Rebecca Jansma

Rebecca Jansma is a distinguished Australian interior designer, celebrated for her finely crafted, deeply considered interiors. She is the Founder and Creative Director of her studio Rebecca Jansma Interior Design (RJID), based in Geelong, Victoria, where she leads a small team of creatives in transforming homes into expressive, comfortable, and beautifully articulated environments.

Rebecca’s path to design is unique. She began her professional life in medical science, working in pathology and managing mining laboratories, before transitioning to interior design, a move motivated by her long-held passion for creativity.

In her design practice she draws on this foundation: a blend of analytical rigour and aesthetic sensitivity. She often describes design as “a dark combination of science and art.”

At the heart of Rebecca’s work is the belief that a well-designed home should be both visually rich and genuinely liveable.
