How long will my products take?<\/strong>
\nIver takes pride in strong customer service standards and support and are committed to providing you the best product as efficiently as possible. Once an order is received from your chosen retailer, it is generally picked and shipped within 1-2 working days. In the event that there are any unavoidable delays to your order, or products need to be back ordered, your retailer will be in touch to discuss alternatives and options.<\/p>\n

Caring for finishes<\/b>
\nIver products are made using the highest quality materials and leading-edge manufacturing and finishing techniques. Iver\u2019s range includes unique, hand crafted finishes, which may vary from product-to-product due to the artisanal processes involved in creating them. The patina of these finishes will change with use over the life of the product, thereby adding character to the item. Other plated and powder coated finishes should maintain their original appearance.<\/p>\n

Cleaning your products<\/b>
\nAll products should be regularly and gently cleaned with soft, damp cloth and should be dried with a soft dry cloth immediately after. Your Iver product has been designed and made to last you many years \u2013 use it, love it and care for it well.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Installation & Product Capabilities<\/h3>\n

Why do my screws keep snapping?<\/strong>
\nIver supply brass screws as standard with all door furniture to best match the finish of your brass product. Spare stainless steel screws can be provided. Though stronger, they may not perfectly match the finish of your brass-based product. It is recommended to pre-drill pilot holes and hand tighten screws to avoid snapping.<\/p>\n

Does Iver door furniture come with a lock or latch?<\/strong>
\nIver door furniture is purchased individually, however some products are available as a kit with compatible lock, latches and fittings.<\/p>\n

What comes with your door furniture?<\/strong>
\nAll Iver door furniture is provided with spindles and matching screws included.<\/p>\n

What else do I need?<\/strong>
\nYour door type and application will determine the latches, locks, hinges, bolts and other accompaniments needed. Find a range of useful guides on the Resources page.<\/p>\n

Brushed Gold PVD Finish<\/h3>\n

What does PVD stand for and what is it?<\/strong><\/p>\n

PVD stands for Physical Vapor Deposition. For Iver\u2019s Brushed Gold PVD finish, the solid brass hardware is firstly chrome plated, then placed in a vacuum chamber where the coating is deposited onto the hardware. A heat treatment process is then applied to bond the coating to the hardware.<\/p>\n

Is the Brushed Gold PVD finish electroplated?<\/strong><\/p>\n

No \u2013 electroplating is a different process to PVD. Electroplating may not possess the same level of hardness and wear resistance as PVD coatings.<\/p>\n

How does Brushed Gold PVD need to be cleaned?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Regular cleaning with a soft damp cloth will help maintain the integrity of the finish. Abrasives and chemicals should not be used on the finish.<\/p>\n
